Reformed Brothers on the Web

I thought it would be a great idea to remind some and inform others of those Reformed/Calvinistic African-American brothers whose sermons are available on the web. Take a listen to some of these when you get a chance:

Lance Lewis - Christian Liberation Fellowship, Philadelphia, PA
Michael Campbell - Redeemer Church, Jackson, MS
Reddit Andrews - Soaring Oaks Church, Elk Grove CA
Michael Higgins - Redemption Fellowship, Fayetteville, GA
Thabiti Anyabwile - First Baptist of Grand Cayman, Grand Cayman
John Coleman - Into The Word Ministries,
Roger Skepple - Berean Bible Baptist Church, Atlanta, GA
Jesse Gistand - Grace Bible Church, San Leandro, CA
Tony Arnold - Gaithersburg Community Church, Gaithersburg, MD
Eric Waldon - Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, Cleveland, OH
Grady Van Wright - Sovereign Grace Church, Pearland, TX
Yuri Solomon - New Life Baptist Church, Houston, TX
Howard Brown - Christ Central Church, Charlotte, NC
Emory Brown - Refreshing Springs Church, Buffalo, NY
Heshimu Colar - The Gospel Church, San Jose, CA
Michael Leach - All Saints Redeemer Church, Stone Mountain, GA

Are you aware of any others? There are plenty more Reformed/Calvinistic brothers preaching a faithful gospel, but who are not putting their sermons on the web. If that is you, what are you waiting for?

Don't forget Sherard Burns!

Hey Bro Fletcher,
So glad to make to your acquaintance. Even more excited to know of another brother committed to Reformed theology and who desires to put in on the web.

Keep up the good work.

Jordan,
I was not aware of Sherard being on the internet at the present time.

Paul Kaiser of The Reformed Evangelist Blog sometimes posts sermons he preaches as an elder at Petaluma Christian Church.

I did not find any audio sermons from Paul Kaiser, but I did find another brother whose blog I will put on my blog roll. Thanks for the heads up. I would love to hear a sermon from him. If you know where I can access one, please let me know. Thanks.

I don't have to time to search the internet right now... but Rev. Ken Jones from Greater Union Baptist Church in Compton, CA! I have really profited from his contributions to the White Horse Inn.

Yep, please don't leave Ken Jones off the list. :-) For those interested, I'll share a little more including links that the previous commenter didn't offer.

As co-host of the White Horse Inn, a group of 4 Reformed ministers discussing theology from both Calvinist and Lutheran perspectives, Ken stands out as an awesome thinker and flag-bearer for Reformed Christianity. And, to the intent of this blog entry, all the show's episodes are indeed available online at www.whitehorseinn.org.

Now, I realize those aren't sermons, but I'd hope you'd agree that sharing Ken's contributions is indeed noteworthy and in the spirit of the entry, if not the letter. :-)

For some reason, the sermons from his church, Greater Union Baptist in Compton CA (yes, it's a Reformed Baptist congregation) are not offered online. There *is* a link from the church site, http://gubc.tripod.com/links.html, that says it's to "a sermon of his", which goes to SermonAudio with just 3 old sermons of his--curiously listed as being from Covenant Baptist Church.

I notice there is a page for Greater Union on SermonAudio (http://www.sermonaudio.com/source_detail.asp?sourceid=gubc), but sadly there are no messages there.

I would really enjoy being able to hear Ken's sermons. If anyone knows of any, I hope they'll share.

Thanks, Pastor Carter, for organizing the list that you have. Every effort to "spread the wealth" of reformed thought is a blessing to man and gives glory to God!

Good job brother. Some friendly assistance with my friend John Coleman of Into the Word Ministries.

He's located in Los Angeles CA,
and the webaddress is:

http://www.johnecoleman.org

He's the brother that first exposed T.D. Jakes as a oneness/modalist!

God bless. Keep up the good work. I actually hit the post from the monergism website.

Great job. Some assistance with my man John Coleman.

He's located in Los Angeles, CA.

The actual web address is:

http://www.johnecoleman.org

This is the brother that first went public with the info that T.D. Jakes was a oneness-modalist.

Still great job Anthony!

HB Charles, JR. Can I ask another question? Why do our African American brothers all have bookstores that sell their sermons, instead of offering it for free on their websites. I don't mean to sound negative, but are we supposed to be making money off of our sermons?

Heshimu said...

That's a great generalization. Everything on our site is free. I'm sure there are many others who do not preach sovereign grace for filthy lucre..
